Good Shepherd Rural Training Centre

The Good Shepherd Rural Training Centre, located in Kg Pukak,Kiulu, District of Tuaran, is a complex of buildings with training facilities which can accommodate up-to 50 people for live-in programs.  This Centre was established in January 2008 with the focus to provide a venue in the rural setting for community development programs and activities.

Its facilities include:

* One multi-purpose hall with a seating capacity of 80
   persons. This hall can be converted into sleeping
   quarters for groups
* six twin sharing rooms with attached bathrooms
* one family room
* one meeting room
* six bathroom cum showers
* fully equipped kitchen.

The Good Shepherd Rural Training Centre has become the hub of community development activities for the village of Pukak.  It is the venue for the Learning Resource Centre, women’s enrichment programs, youth / children activities and holiday camps.

The Centre faces the starting point no. 1 of the Kiulu White Water Rafting and is ideal for retreats, team-building activities and group sessions away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Good Shepherd Rural Training Centre is also open for reservations at reasonable rates when the Centre is not used for programmes by PKGS.
